What’s The Builders Challenge?  This is the OG.  Each season we challenge you to start (and finish!) a woodworking project based on a theme we unveil at the challenge kickoff.  You then get to put your skills to the test against woodworkers all around the globe (with all different skill levels) for a prize pack jammed full of woodworking tools and goodies.

How long does the challenge last? You’ll have 3ish weeks to complete your build from May 4th through May 26th!

What’s the theme?  On May 4th, we’ll reveal the theme on this page on launch day.  Want a little head start?  Register here for the kickoff email and get the theme a day early!

How do you get the most out of this challenge?  Participate and interact with the community!  Whether this is your first challenge or your 40th, follow the hashtag #tbc17progress and then make sure you use that tag when posting your progress of your project!  This competition is about community (and cool prizes) so the more you all interact with each other the more fun this is for everyone.  Make sure you’re tagging and sending collaboration requests to @makerschallengecentral so we can share your work!

How do you submit your project?  First, post your final project (it can be a picture, video or reel) to your Instagram feed tagging @makerschallengecentral and using the hashtag #tbc17final no later than 11:59pm PST on May 26th, 2024.  Final submissions using Instagram Stories will not be counted in judging.  Then fill out this SUBMISSION FORM (will go live at launch) to complete the process.  No submission form, no entry.
