Join us as we ignite creativity with the art of pyrography in this exciting new competition. Hosted by Makers Challenge Central and proudly partnered with Bear Woods Supply Co. The Sept-EMBER Challenge is your chance to showcase your skills in wood burning and create something truly unique.

Rules for entry: Once we announce the THEME on September 13th:

  • Grab a piece of wood and your favorite wood burning tool and start burning!

  • Tell the world on your (public) Instagram Feed that you're participating in the "Makers Challenge Central Sept-EMBER Challenge".”

  • Make sure you tag @makerschallengecentral and tell us what your project plans are.

  • There's no limit on the number of entries you can submit, however, each project requires a new submission.

  • Use the tag #MCCSeptemberChallenge and tag @makerschallengecentral to give us updates on your progress in posts or stories. Make sure you collab with us too!

  • Complete your projects) and post a reveal of your completed project on your Instagram feed by 11:59pm PST on October 4th, 2025 making sure you tag @makerschal-lengecentral. You can use photos, videos or both, but the final reveal must be posted in your feed. Stories disappear in 24 hours and can't be judged.

  • Use the SUBMISSION FORM to finalize your project! No submission, no entry into judging!
